Spicy Salted Cookies with Dill

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr Vala Pastry
  • 100 gr Vala Cream
  • 1 kg flour
  • 15 gr salt
  • 20 gr granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 5 gr ground red pepper
  • 5 gr powder turmeric
  • 5 gr oregano
  • 100 gr mild cream cheese
  • 100 gr finely grated fresh or aged kasseri cheese
  • A bunch of dill, finely chopped
  • Egg yolk to apply on top

 

Instructions:

Knead all the ingredients in the dough mixer. Let the dough rest covered for 10 minutes. Roll it out half an inch thick with the help of a rolling pin and arrange on a baking tray greased with Yudum Sunflower Oil. Brush with egg. Black cumin and sesame seeds can be added if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 18 minutes. Bon appetite.
